TITLE: DON’T BE A FOOL

AUTHORED BY PASTOR CHARLES AND FAVOUR CHUKWUEMEZIE

Proverbs 9:8″ do not correct a fool or he will hate you. Correct a wise man and he will appreciate you. “

Fools don’t appreciate correction. Correction can come from anyone… Friends, haters, colleagues, from listening to a message, from your seniors, even from the younger. Listen, it doesn’t matter how they present it or if the person is not qualified to correct you, what really matters on your side, is that you check to see how you can benefit from that correction.

Correction comes to make you better. Change when you have to. If you are not changing, you’re not growing. Correction can come in form of an advise or instruction and rebuke. Moses corrected God one time and God didn’t ignore him. He made God change His mind about a rash decision He was about to make. If God can listen to the advise of an ordinary man He appointed Himself, don’t feel too big to be corrected.

If you feel too big to take correction, instruction or advice, get ready to live a life of disgrace. Pride forth before a fall. Whenever you see a proud man, he is accompanied by failure and shame. Whatever you refuse to work on today, will surely work against you tomorrow.

Don’t be too rigid and claiming to be Mr Perfect or Mrs know it all. Sometimes you can also take correction by observation. Your way of doing things, the way you reason, what you have always known must not always be the best and final.
