TITLE: BE YOUR OWN JUDGE

AUTHORED BY PASTOR CHARLES AND FAVOUR CHUKWUEMEZIE

1 CORINTHIANS 11:31 “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”

There are many people who prefer to do shovel ministry. These are the people who pass blames to someone else just like Adam and Eve did when God caught them in their sin.
These people assume that instructions given are not for them but for someone else especially when teachings are on.

Learn to call a spade by its name.
Don’t be sentimental about issues this year. Say that something wrong when it is wrong, even if you’re the one involved.
Don’t be found among those who rewrite  their theology to accommodate their tragedy.

If you judge yourself, there won’t be a need for you to be judged. Some people prefer to die in their guilt than judge themselves rightly and keep moving.

A man that judges himself rightly, is that man that will be quick to repent and receive mercy like Peter did when he denied Jesus.

One way to judge yourself is to ask yourself, ‘what I just did to this person, can I take the same thing from someone else?’
If you can’t, quickly run and apologise to that person and move on.
This will help you a lot.
