TITLE: PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT PERFECT

AUTHORED BY PASTOR CHARLES AND FAVOUR CHUKWUEMEZIE

MATTHEW 18:15 ” “If your brother sins against you, go and confront him while the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother.”

Only God is perfect because He is God. Jesus knew that human beings can offend, so He made provision for how conflicts can be resolved. As long as you live and walk, and also work among people, expect offence.
Someone, somewhere, somehow is going to offend you.

When people offend you either by what they said, or what by the way they act, here is one of the things Jesus recommended for you to do…confront the person.
To confront does not mean to retaliate or to fight as some would prefer to do. It doesn’t mean to avoid and keep malice as some other person would also prefer.

To confront is to meet the person and point out his or her fault to the person. And it must be done with love and respect. How do I know?
From our text, Jesus said we should meet the person alone. When you meet someone to talk about a sensitive issue like what the person has done wrong, doing it between just the two of you shows to a large degree that you want solution not more problems.
It also shows that you respect the person.
Jesus is trying to let us understand that there is a great possibility of winning back the person as family or friends if you go by this first method.

People you will work with are  human beings and human beings make lots of mistakes; you must learn to confront this mistakes. Point out the fault, don’t condemn the person. Face the issue not the person.
I pray that God will help us all to learn how to manage the relationships He has organised to be a blessing to us as we grow in life.

PRAYER AND DECLARATION
