TITLE: EVERY HOME NEEDS JESUS

AUTHORED BY PASTOR CHARLES AND FAVOUR CHUKWUEMEZIE

EXODUS 12:3 ” Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:”

The lamb in the old testament speaks of Jesus every time it is mentioned in terms of sacrifice. In the scripture we read, every household was expected to have a lamb, that lamb would be killed and the blood sprinkled on their door posts and the lintel of their houses; so that when the angel of death that was to visit Egypt comes, it will see the blood and know that this household should not be touched.
The blood of the lamb which must be without blemish was supposed to be their covering.

Jesus is the lamb who was slain before the foundation of the earth. Jesus is the lamb without sin, He was killed, He died, resurrected and appeared before the Father God with His shed blood  at God’s mercy seat. Whoever acknowledges His Sacrifice and declares Him Lord in his or her life is saved.
And when we say ‘saved’, we mean saved in every sense of salvation. Saved from sin, saved from poverty, saved from eternal damnation and any kind of destruction. Allowing Jesus into your life puts the blood on your door posts, ‘evil beware’.

If you are already saved, take no rest till Jesus is Lord over every member of your family. You’ve got to pray for them to receive Jesus. You’ve got to preach to them until they’re are saved and safe.
And if your household is already also saved, reach out to your neighbours.
Every house needs Jesus.
Everyone you have opportunity to meet needs Jesus. Don’t let them go to hell, introduce Jesus to them.
