PHILIPPIANS 3:13 “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,”

Do you know that God is in the business of doing new things. Even the Bible says that His mercies are new every morning. He says ‘behold, I will do a new thing’. God wants us to forget the past.
Call your name and repeat this to yourself. ..I refuse to dwell on my past, I refuse to keep revisiting my past failures.

You may have done a lot of evil things in the past…leave it there in the past.
You may not have lived up to expectations. ..leave it there in the past.
Maybe you’ve tried different methods of success in the past but to no avail, leave it where it belongs,  in the past.

When you keep visiting and revisiting your past, you empower your past to control  your future.
When people hurt you, behave like Joseph. Put it all behind you and move ahead. If Joseph had continued to soliloquise over what his brothers did to him, if he chose to analyse and dwell on the injustice that brought him into the prison, he wouldn’t have been able to look beyond himself to touch a life in prison.
That one life he touched in a special way, gave him a ticket to the palace.

Leave your past where it should be.
