TITLE: WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES
AUTHORED BY PASTOR CHARLES AND FAVOUR CHUKWUEMEZIE
REVELATION 3:8 “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.”
God is too faithful to fail. He didn’t fail yesterday, He can’t start failing in your time. Many times, some people just keep banging on a closed door, sitting on a dead horse and be complaining that God is not good. God said to Joshua, arise and continue this journey, Moses my servant is dead. He said to Samuel, rise, go and anoint me a new king, I have rejected Saul. God does not sit on a dead horse; why should you?
We all love to have open doors, but there are some doors that should close in our lives. Sometimes these doors seem so important to us, yet God who knows better knows they are doors that lead to regrets.
Child of God, whenever a door closes, don’t force yourself to keep it open or break it open. If it is a job that you have been sacked from, jubilate, because a better and bigger door is opened. If it is a failed relationship, don’t cry, don’t curse, be happy, celebrate because God has just delivered you from a death trap.
And we know that ALL THINGS, works together for our good. It may not seem or feel like good, but at the end it will speak. No child of God can ever be disadvantaged. God always has something better cooking for every one called by His name. No good thing will He withhold from you… His child.
Trust God and you will see yourself step into the open doors in a grand style. Do you know that Potiphars house was an open door in disguise. The prison too was an open door in disguise to lead him to the palace. God is up-to something marvellous because of you. Once He opens a door for you, no man can shut it.
PRAYER AND DECLARATION
I HAVE NO OTHER GOD BUT YOU. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PLANS FOR MY LIFE AND DESTINY. I TRUST YOU LORD.
