IDENTITY WITH CHRIST (Part 2) by Pst Charles Chukwuemezie
John 19:30 (KJV)
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
The Word Finish means..
Bring (a task or activity) to an end; complete..
RELIGION WILL TELL YOU THAT WHERE HE STOPPED YOU SHOULD CONTINUE..
Religion will tell you that human effort is needed to get result..
We want to say I prayed and fasted ..
They will bring Hannah.. Esther etc..
They are not Christ.
But you have Christ..
The gospel says “manifest Christ as a born again.
You don’t need to be born again to behave good. Good behavior is not a prerequisite for salvation.
But good behavior is a product of salvation
Self Righteousness finds the Gospel offensive..
They hate it because it denies them of boasting in their works.
The Gospel of Christ is not complicated.
It is simple.
When you see complications know that you are dealing with religion and not the Gospel of Christ.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
He has accomplished everything concerning you..
You cease from any battle.
He has settled everything and told you .. It is finished..
God says you are COMPLETE in him as him but religion and it’s madness says “you need more”
All these sons screaming “I’m hungry for God”
Its obvious you are really EMPTY OF KNOWLEDGE OF WHO YOU ARE.
The highest you can be is as good as God but never better than he is; if you have not destroyed your children for the terrible things they do, it is error to think that God can destroy his sons for any reason at all.
You don’t need to behave good to be born of God but since you are born of God, behave yourself
Applying the fruit of the spirit in your daily work opens the door for effective relationship between you and men
Whatever is done outside love is not Christ, including your prayer of “enemy die die”.
When you sing or make confessions, sing and confess what Christ HAS done not what he WILL do.
Grace tells you “your sins are forgiven” but perfection says “you are born of God, new, no past sin to be forgiven, new is new”
Son of God is not a title, it is who we are as Christ; this identity comes with all of God’s personality and full package.
Don’t make noise, let your manifestation as Christ be your introduction wherever you appear
